We areGetting Married

4 years ago, we were different people. Two kids enamored with the New York City lifestyle and perilously wading through the very choppy waters of the dating scene it provides. Unsure of what the future held, we—even more perilously—turned to technology to automate our love lives. Swipe left here, swipe right there. Short conversation, witty banter, bad dates, and even worse prospects on whether we’d ever find a diamond in the rough. Then there was that one. We knew we wanted to meet almost immediately. And, like most things in life—and as we’d soon learn, even in our relationship—it took a bit or trial and error. But we met. Not knowing that we would be each other’s soul mates. Not knowing where life would take us. Not knowing that one day not too far in the future, we’d be looking at a whole life together, forever intertwined.

And yet, here we are. About to embark on the most epic and meaningful journey of our lives together. Exactly that. One life. Thoughtfully crafting one ’story of we’ together, as opposed to the individual ’stories of me’ we were improvising before. And, if you’re reading this, it’s because you’re a part of that story. The before and the after. And we’d be truly honored if you’d join us in celebrating the very first chapter of an entirely new story and make our new beginning meaningful and—like most good stories—filled with the vibrant characters that make our lives interesting and, ultimately, complete.
